Our owners have been active community volunteers for over 30 years in the Greater Mankato area. They believe giving back, serving the community and generating awareness to important causes are imperative to creating a stronger, more vibrant community. Hope in Bloom’s goal is to increase awareness and raise funds for non-profit organizations working to improve the health and wellness of children and families through research, education, and mentorships. Each month, Hilltop Florist will partner with a different non-profit organization and design a custom arrangement donating 20% of the design’s proceeds to support their cause.

For the entire month of May, Hilltop Florist is partnering with the American Heart Association.

For nearly 100 years, the American Heart Association (AHA) has been fighting heart disease and stroke, striving to save and improve lives. AHA has grown into the nation’s oldest and largest voluntary organization dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke. A shared focus on cardiovascular health unites our more than 33 million volunteers and supporters as well as our more than 3,400 employees.

Heart disease is the No. 1 killer worldwide, and stroke ranks second globally. Even when those conditions don’t result in death, they cause disability and diminish quality of life. AHA wants to see a world free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.

Hilltop Florist’s believes in being involved and giving back to the community. Their Hope in Bloom program is aimed at raising both awareness and financial benefit for area non-profit organizations with missions focused on the improvement of health and wellness of children, families, and the overall community. Each month, Hilltop Florist will partner with a different non-profit organization, design a custom floral arrangement, and donate 20% of the proceeds to the selected organization to support their cause.

“Our goal with Hope in Bloom is to help non-profits in their efforts of supporting the many needs of children and families within our community each month. The American Heart Association’s mission is to be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives. Like so many families, ours has been directly impacted by heart disease.  Through their tireless research efforts, AHA is making exciting life changing breakthroughs.” says Deb Newman, COO of Hilltop Florist. “With Hope in Bloom, people can give a gift that is generous in more ways than one, as 20% of the proceeds will go directly to the non-profit.”
